A Buffalo, New York start-up focused on the challenges of social video. Working with a small team, I developed wireframes, user workflows, and GUIs for this web-based video application.
By creating a social video platform leveraging the discrete user behaviors of watching and commenting, Vidbolt gives the viewer the ability to add, edit, like, and share comments of particular moments within a video. Comments are simultaneously displayed alongside the video along with filtering controls. The density of comments are displayed in a colored heatmap that indicates how many comments exist at any given moment in a video’s timeline.
